Scope of the Role
The Senior Manager of Accounts Receivable provides strategic leadership and oversight of the entire Order-to-Cash (O2C) transactional operations for CooperCompanies' America's Global Business Services (GBS) environment. This role ensures timely billing, credit management, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, and reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout the cycle. The role is accountable for optimizing working capital, driving continuous process improvements, and enhancing customer experience through strong cross-functional collaboration and automation initiatives.
Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for leading the AR team and managing end-to-end O2C operations. This includes developing policies and procedures for credit, billing, collections, and cash application, while ensuring compliance with SOX and company standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of AR processes, and a proven ability to implement automation and process improvements. This role requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and the ability to partner with Sales, Finance, IT, and Customer Service to deliver best-in-class AR performance in a shared services model.
