Industrial Hygienist I

We are currently seeking an Industrial Hygienist I to work in our Utica or Syracuse, NY office. Applicants should have 5-10 years of experience in similar roles. Duties include: Conduct asbestos and lead-based paint inspections, surveys, abatement monitoring, environmental sampling, industrial hygiene sampling, and indoor air quality services; Conduct industrial hygiene surveys to assess chemical, physical, and biological hazards, such as worker personal breathing zone sampling for airborne contaminants, or noise monitoring; Support in-house industrial hygiene monitoring and safety equipment maintenance; Participate in indoor environmental quality investigations or surveys; Perform environmental sampling of soil, water, air, and waste materials; Perform data analysis and reporting based on review of technical data; Conduct environmental site evaluations and assist in preparation of follow-up reports; and, Complete other tasks as necessary for client projects or to support internal technical requirements.
