How You Will Contribute

As a Manager within the Private Equity Risk Advisory team in the Insurance & Risk Advisory Services practice, you will support a diverse range of clients-including corporates, private equity firms, and insurance/reinsurance companies-through dynamic, high-impact engagements. You will leverage your experience in the Insurance industry to help clients navigate transition, manage risk, improve performance, and maximize value throughout the deal lifecycle.

Working closely with senior leaders across organizations, you will contribute to the delivery of solutions including business and people/benefits risks for Private Equity firms and their respective portfolio companies. You will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where multitasking across multiple client engagements is the norm, and each team member brings strong insurance expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

The Work
  • Support the day-to-day execution of consulting projects and ensure successful delivery of client requirements within the scope of the engagement, including:
    • Drive development of the content, either directly or by providing guidance to the consulting and client teams (for example, by sharing ideas, frameworks or providing input on research and analysis).
    • Supporting client relationship management on a day-to-day basis.
    • Supporting project scope and maintaining an acceptable pace of work.
  • Support and contribute to other A& M projects, for example by sharing expertise or best practices.
  • Deliver client-facing presentations, articulating key analyses and project insights to support decision-making
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property within the Financial Services Industry including improving methodologies, tools, techniques and developing new ideas and approaches.
  • Engage with macro industry trends, competitive dynamics and disruptors (insurtech, digital, AI, etc.) to generate thought leadership and innovative new ideas to respond to evolving industry challenges.
  • Support business development initiatives and project development


Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in employee benefits risk management; private equity insurance due diligence; private equity insurance consulting
  • Outstanding problem-solving acumen leveraging strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; proven ability to derive insights from large volumes of unstructured information to solve complex, ambiguous problems.
  • Ability to deliver impactful results from ideation to execution by working independently and collaborating within cross-functional teams across multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Strength in project management across multiple projects
  • Exceptional Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience leading experience leading projects and/or teams.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with data visualization or HRIS/RMIS platforms
  • PEO experience

The salary range is $135, 000 - $160, 000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A& M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
