The department ‘Cyber Security Architecture’ is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected within DHL Group. Supporting the Board, this role involves leading the design and implementation of robust security architectures, frameworks, and solutions to protect the organization's digital assets from emerging cyber threats.

Your key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security architecture strategy aligned with the DHL Group Strategy 2030, business objectives and risk appetite.
- Collaborate with the CISOs and other senior leaders to integrate security architecture principles into the overall IT, OT and business strategy.
- Design and oversee the implementation of secure architecture frameworks, ensuring they meet regulatory, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Consider modern design principles (Security by design/default, Security as code) to enable agile solution development.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with established security standards and policies.
- Manage resource allocation, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives with long-term perspectives for the team members.
- Lead a team with up to 6 employees and the technical working group of the Information Security Committee (ISC).
- Work closely with IT, business units, and external partners to ensure security requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
- Represent the organization in security forums and collaborate with external security architecture communities.
- Influence others across DHL and externally as an internally and externally recognized thought leader representing the DHL Group.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443).
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information/Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber/information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise security architectures (references are a plus). Extensive knowledge of various security domain architectures (e.g. network, application, access, endpoint, etc.).
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
