We are looking for a location-independent Europe/worldwide (home office possible) a

Global Network Engineer (m/w/d) with good English knowledge

Your tasks:

• Management and maintenance of a global network environment, both on-premise and in cloud environments
• Designing, implementing and optimizing the network infrastructure
• Supporting and monitoring the network in hybrid and cloud infrastructures
• Perform capacity planning, performance analysis and system optimization for storage systems
• Collaborate with CISO office about the security guidelines and ensure the implementation
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all network requirements are met
• Updating and maintaining documentation, policies and procedures
• Collaborate to further expand cloud readiness within Dedalus
• Participation in the on-call service

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or other training (e.g. IT specialist / system integration) with experience in global network solutions, knowledge of firewall technologies, VPNs, SD-WAN and cloud environments.
• Experience in data center network and service provider management
• Know-how in the operation of modern IT environments
• Willingness to tackle complex and challenging projects
• Ability to work in a global team
• Goal- and result-oriented action ("doer mentality")
• Good command of English (written and oral)
• Good knowledge of network environments (Cisco, Maraki, ForcePoint)
• Knowledge of secure remote access solutions (Zscaler ZPA and ZIA)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, AZURE, GCP)
