Job Summary Provides support for the claims department by reviewing, sorting, and documenting incoming mail.
Education & Experience Required: • High School degree or G.E.D.
• 2 years' clerical experience, with business office experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Word and Excel
• U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
Preferred: • Experience in the Health Care Industry
Key Responsibilities • Reviews incoming claims mail.
• Enters critical information from incoming mail into document storage repository and case management system.
• Produces form letters to Beneficiaries and providers.
• Splits documents containing multiple requests.
• Routes mail receipts to appropriate claims folders.
• Assists with return mail.
• Supports department with other functions as needed.
• Ability to work independently in a repetitive environment.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of claims documentation processes; experience working with on-line records; typing and key entry experience.

• Availability to cover any work shift between 6am and 6pm
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
