Job Description:
Position Summary
This position willbe responsible forall receiving, storage and replenishmentactivitiessupporting a$100m kitchen cabinet assemblyplant. Key element of this position will be developing and deploying best practices for day-to-day operations. This includesreceiving, storage, inventory control, customer backorder recovery, space planning, 3PL management, optimizingpick locations, establishingpick locations for new product launches, ensuringaccuratetransactions from team, and delivering on time to production.The leader will be expected toaccomplishthisthrough effective mentoring, coachingandleanpractices. Keyobjectiveswill include safety, quality, productivity, cost, customerserviceand inventory accuracy.
The position willleadan organization of20-25employees.
Organizational Relationship
Position reportsto theMaterialsManager
Responsibilities
Performance of thereceiving andputawayteam. Including receiving, storage, inventory control, customer backorder recovery, space planning and 3PL management
Performance of thepicking and replenishmentteam. Includinginventory control, on time delivery, escalation of quality defects
Meetobjectivesrelated to safety, quality, productivity, cost, customerserviceand inventory accuracy.
Implement best practices through MasterBrand defined lean practices including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, problem solving, A3 action planning and standard work.
Utilize a data driven approach to ensure workflow, customerserviceand storage optimization. Anticipating issues and taking action to resolve bottlenecks and inefficient material flow.
Regularly audit current practices to challengetheteams, bring awarenessto opportunities, andto make sure that continuous improvement becomes amindset

Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineeringor Supply Chain Management
Minimum of3years’managementexperience inmanufacturing, warehousingordistribution
Experience with Lean Management
Experience withwarehouse management systems
ExpertisewithExcel, PowerPoint
Compensation Range:
$51, 000.00-80, 080.00*Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors
