chromalloy is hiring a Machining Blade Manufacturing - CNC Operator 1st shift in Carson City, NV. This is a full-time position, requiring a associate degree, and paying $19.62–$33.82/hour.
Job Summary
We're looking for a CNC Operator to join our Blade Manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines used to manufacture critical aerospace components. Shift: Primarily Monday-Friday (schedule flexibility required; days and hours may vary based on business needs, including weekends)
Hours: 7: 00 AM-3: 30 PM, 1st Shift
Sign-On Bonus: $1, 000
What You'll Do
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines
- Load and edit machine programs as needed
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials
- Produce parts to engineering and production specifications
- Inspect and measure parts using precision measuring tools
- Perform minor part modifications and finishing work
- Follow assembly, production, and quality requirements
- Utilize computerized production tracking systems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Support 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred
- Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
