The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Australia and lead the successful delivery of our Digital Grid product portfolio across the APAC region. Reporting directly to the APAC PMO Leader, you will be responsible for planning, executing and overseeing end-to-end project delivery, including system upgrades and maintenance activities.
You will also get the opportunity to coordinate key deliverables with various internal teams, regional partners / front offices and Customers as you achieve project objectives while maintaining full compliance with our internal processes, governance requirements and standards. Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of implementation, upgrade and maintenance of Digital Grid projects across the APAC region, ensuring all scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements are met
- Complete project planning activities including project scoping, scheduling, resource allocation, risk assessment and stakeholder alignment during the contracting stages
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including engineering, product, operations, support teams, regional and global stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution of project deliverables and alignment of priorities
- Serve as the primary Customer interface throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, expectation management and Customer satisfaction
- Monitor and control project performance and finances, proactively identifying risks, issues and dependencies while implementing mitigation and corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to PMO governance, processes, reporting standards, and project management best practices as defined by the APAC PMO Leader
- Prepare and deliver project documentation, including project plans, status reports, financial reports, change requests and closure documents
- Provide support for tender activities, including reviewing technical and commercial requirements, contributing to project delivery plans, estimating timelines and resources and ensuring alignment with PMO standards during bid preparation
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (ideally Electrical, Computer Science, Project Management) coupled with a depth of experience across varied project management roles, ideally supporting utility, energy or industrial software domains
- You are a seasoned Project Manager with professional status (PMP or PMI) and a depth of knowledge across project management methodologies, tools and best practices
- Proven commercial knowledge and experience that has encompassed; bids/tenders, project finances, budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Strong IT skills, especially in the use of MS Office, relevant project management tools and other digital platforms
- Proven background in collaborating with various stakeholder groups which may include cross-functional and/or technical teams and experience in delivering project success through collaboration with global or regional stakeholders
- Any additional postgraduate qualifications or certifications with be viewed favourably (MBA, PMP etc.)
