Purpose:

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain for Family Care & Professional (IFP), the Supply Chain Customer Engagement Lead plays a key role in the overall performance of KCA's business by proactively engaging with our key account customers to deliver effective communication & drive continuous improvement;
You will create a positive customer experience, providing added value at every customer interaction.

Job Description

  • Conduct in-depth assessments to understand each customer’s specific supply chain requirements and challenges. Analyse customer data to identify patterns and areas for improvement

  • Develop tailored solutions that address the unique supply chain needs of each customer. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the solutions are feasible and align with company capabilities. Present proposed solutions to customers and refine them based on feedback.

  • Initiate regular meetings and check-ins with customers to discuss their supply chain needs and any emerging issues. Provide timely updates and maintain open lines of communication. Demonstrate genuine interest and commitment to helping customers succeed

  • Work with customers to develop strategic plans for optimising their supply chains. Align initiatives with the customer’s overall business goals

  • Be agile in responding to changes in the customer’s supply chain environment, quickly address disruptions or unexpected challenges with flexible solutions

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a similar Customer Engagement/Customer Supply Chain position, ideally from the FMCG industry

  • Strong verbal and written communication for clear and effective interactions with customers and internal teams. Ability to articulate value propositions and explain complex solutions

  • Expertise in building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with customers. Ability to understand and anticipate customer needs

  • Ability to identify issues and develop effective, timely solutions

  • Strong analytical skills to assess data and derive actionable insights

  • Capability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with customer goals

  • Forward-thinking to anticipate market trends and customer needs
