Your day to day

Our Director Sales for Conference and Events will lead our C& E Sales and Planning teams to secure and dliver the most Incredible Occasions for our events and conferencing clients..

Work closely with the C& E operations and Culinary teams you will ensure the seamless delivery of incredible occasions across all meetings and events at the hotel whilst achieving revenue, profit and budget targets for C& E>

Your immaculate presentation, passion for securing sales, sound commercial acumen and ability to lead, inspire and motivate your busy and varied C& E sales department will be essential for your success in this role.

What we need from you

  • 2+ years’ experience and proven track record in Sales within Events is essential
  • Proven success in securing sales and maximising revenue with the C& E industry
  • Exceptional mentor and leadership skills and to nurture and develop your team
  • Strategic and tactical thinker - ability to develop strategic C& E Sales plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time
  • Ability to work across multiple diversified business units or multiple projects
  • Understands the C& E industry dynamics, trends, and disciplines
  • In-depth knowledge of Sales principles and selling techniques
  • Strong organisational, written & communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise workload & manage projects
  • You must meet the legal requirements to live & work in Australia
