Commis Chef Part Time Position– Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour

Are you passionate about food, flavour, and creating memorable dining experiences? At Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour, we’re looking for a dedicated Commis Chef to join our Culinary team and grow under the guidance of our Director of Food & Beverage, Lynn – an industry leader who is committed to developing the next generation of chefs.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and present a variety of dishes for our signature restaurant La Bella Trattoria, as well as Breakfast, Room Service, and Conference & Events.
• Bring creativity and consistency to every plate, ensuring guests enjoy the highest standards of taste and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, following hygiene and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the wider Culinary team, contributing ideas and supporting smooth daily operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, ideally in a hotel environment.
• Working rights in Australia.
• A positive team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and prioritise effectively.
• Pride in presentation – from your uniform and grooming to the dishes you deliver.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
