Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Leisure Centre Assistant Manager to support the smooth and effective daily operations of our facility. In this leadership role, you will guide and supervise staff to maintain high standards of customer service, professionalism, safety, and workplace conduct.


Working closely with the Centre Manager and Supervisors, you will contribute to creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all guests. You will provide ongoing leadership, coaching, and operational oversight to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and to an exceptional standard. A key part of this role involves assisting with the implementation of strategies aimed at improving safety, and staff engagement. The successful candidate will assist in identifying opportunities to enhance current services and develop new business initiatives, contributing to the continued growth and success of the centre.


Skills & Experience

  • NSW RLSSA Pool Lifeguard License (Essential)
  • Valid NSW WWCC (Essential)
  • First Aid (HLTAID0011) & CPR certifications (Essential)
  • Previous leadership experience and/or appropriate level of training in supervising others (Essential)
  • Aquatic Technical Operators Certification or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Current Swim Teacher certification (Desirable)
  • Pool Lifeguard Workplace Supervisor (Desirable)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in the operation/management of an Aquatic or Recreation Facility (Desirable)
  • Availability on weekends is a requirement of this role.
