Description:

As the Food and Beverage Service Manager you will primarily be responsible for overseeing the Food and Beverage Service operations within the hotel precinct. Focusing on implementing strategies and processes as directed to ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, venue presentation, and service. This role is required to pro-actively assist senior supervisors and support the Food and Beverage Manager in identifying potential developments to improve the customer experience. Working with the Food and Beverage team this role is to provide leadership and guidance to all employees and implement strategies for increasing safety, work satisfaction and productivity. It is a requirement to maintain a strong level of knowledge about the resort, as to provide information to guests and employees as required.


About the Role

  • Assist in maintaining the venue’s presentation and ambiance to align with the desired ‘personality’ and theme, ensuring an optimal guest experience
  • Monitor consistency in product quality, presentation, and delivery of all food and beverage offerings
  • Assist in developing and implement solutions to specific service problems, monitoring their effectiveness on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain a complete understanding of NSW liquor licensing laws to effectively liaise and communicate with patrons, staff and security on matters of RSA.
  • Impose strict adherence to licensing conditions across each operating venue.


Skills & Experience

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong customer service knowledge
  • Recognised qualification in a relevant field or deemed competent to fulfil the role
  • Supervisory experience across multiple Hotel outlets
