Description:

Job Title: Food and Beverage Team Leader


Function
Overseeing the daily operations of the Food & Beverage Department. Your primary objective is to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient operations and adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will lead a team of food service professionals, providing guidance, training and support to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain your self appearance in accordance with the Atura Blacktown’s and Royal Cricketers Arm’s grooming standards.
  • Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team.
  • Participate in all rostered theoretical and on the job training sessions.
  • Adhere to all established cashiering policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipment
  • Provide strong leadership to the food and beverage team, including supervision, guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Train and manage a team of food service professionals that meets, and exceeds, departmental goals and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, including scheduling, inventory management and cost control.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times, addressing customer enquiries, feedback and complaints promptly, and professionally.
  • Collaborate with chefs, management and colleagues to develop and update menus, ensuring offerings to meet customer preferences, dietary restrictions and budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Monitor financial performance of the department, including revenue, expenses and profitability; whilst implementing strategies to maximise profitability.
  • Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for team memners to enhance their skills, knowledge and performance.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with management, team members, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation and portion control to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and oversee special events, banquets and catering service, as required, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Complete all assigned opening and closing duties.
  • Give assistance to other departments or outlets when required.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor / manager.
