We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team our team as a casual Concierge. As the ideal candidate you'll have a robust background in a similar environment, with a strong commitment to delivering excellence at every turn.

The Concierge Department is often the first point of contact and the first impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us. To deliver a great guest experience – a Concierge will be point of call offering local area knowledge to guests, assist with luggage, & assist with porter duties to make sure they have all they need for a great stay.

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognising EVT Rewards Club Members and also returning guests
• Communication: Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions
• Multitasking: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of service under pressure
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and enhanced guest satisfaction
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional demeanor and presentation at all times, including impeccable grooming standards
• Phone Etiquette: Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, providing clear and helpful information in a prompt & timely manner
• Attention to Detail: Display strong attention to detail, especially when handling guest requests and performing tasks
• Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines
• Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
• Flexibility: Available to work a flexible schedule across seven days a week, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Provide information on hotel services and room location
• Carry out porter duties
• Transport hotel guests around the resort driving hotel buggies
• Delivering and collecting guest luggage to and from guest rooms and outside villas
  
• Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times. Immediately report any health and safety incident, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behaviour to the supervisor or manager on duty
  
• Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc
• Perform all other duties as required by Front Office Manager or designate
  

Skills and Experience

• Being passionate about people and service
• Basic computer skills to operate various property management and reservations systems, etc as required
• Strong communication skills essential when interacting with guests and employees
• Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issue complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
• Basic math skills are used frequently when handling cash or credit cards
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities are often used
• Knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures, for programs such as; seasonal packages, Frequent Flyer programs, and also EVT Loyalty programs
• Valid Driver’s License: A current New South Wales driver’s license is required
• Legal Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia
• Police Check: All successful candidates must be willing to undergo a National Police Check
  
• A current valid driver’s licence (not learner)
