Your Duties

Overview: The Hotel Manager assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager.

  • This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to ensure the smooth functioning of all departments and the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and administrative functions.

  • Monitor and maintain high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and safety throughout the property.

  • Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.

  • Guest Experience: Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints.

  • Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests by leading by example and promoting a customer-centric culture among staff.

  • Regularly review guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall guest experience. Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, providing ongoing coaching and development to maintain high performance standards.

  • Schedule staff efficiently to meet operational needs while controlling labor costs.

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and employee morale. Financial Management:

  • Assist in the development and monitoring of the hotel budget, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and profit optimization.

  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality or guest satisfaction.

  • Review financial reports regularly to assess performance against budgetary goals and take corrective action as needed.

  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies for maximizing revenue and occupancy.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.

  • Support sales and promotional initiatives to drive bookings and increase revenue streams.

  • Maintenance and Safety: Ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of the hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.

  • Implement safety and security protocols to protect guests, staff, and hotel assets.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and address them promptly to prevent disruptions to operations.
