About the Role

As a Porter you will be part of a team that creates a warm and memorable welcome. We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive individual who thrives on helping others and making a lasting impression. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for local area insights, assist with luggage, valet parking and porter duties, and ensure guests have everything they need for a seamless and enjoyable stay. Your helpful guidance and genuine hospitality will reassure guests they’ve made the right choice, setting the tone for an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.

Skills & Experience

• Valid Driver’s Licence with proven ability to safely operate guest vehicles; prior valet parking experience highly desirable.
• Previous hotel experience in a similar guest-facing role, demonstrating a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Skilled in anticipating and promptly attending to guest needs, ensuring personalized and timely service.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to offer warm, professional greetings and farewells to guests at all times.
• Competent in handling guest luggage transfers and maintaining a clean, organized hotel entrance and foyer.
• Experienced in coordinating guest requests across multiple departments and following up to guarantee satisfaction.
• Knowledgeable in local area attractions, hotel services, and events, enabling effective guest communication and recommendations.
• Proficient in booking transportation, managing guest communications, and supporting front desk operations to enhance overall guest experience.
