About the role:
An exceptional opportunity awaits to join our team as a Full-time Pool Technician Handyperson.
To perform routine maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the hotel’s infrastructure and swimming pool & spa facilities. This role combines general maintenance responsibilities with the specialised care of pools, spas, and associated equipment, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance at all times.
Keeping our resort looking great is paramount to our guest’s experience. Your responsibilities as a Pool Technician Handyperson, you’ll keep everything looking sharp and fresh! Your problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail will ensure our 100+ acre resort remains in top condition. You’ll be well groomed, organised, proactive, and take pride in delivering quality results that support both our team and our guests
We're looking for someone who’s not only detail-oriented and self-motivated but also a strong communicator who works well within a team. The flexibility in the roster is important to work across 7 days including public holidays, as well as the ability to take initiative and work unsupervised. Having a high standard of grooming and being able to pitch in and support your teammates is a nice touch, too. Having a driver's license to operate hotel vehicles (like buggies) means you might be doing some maintenance in our outdoor hotel villas or transporting items around the resort, which adds a bit of variety to the job.
