About the Role

We’re seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel’s facilities, both inside and out. You’ll deliver an effective maintenance service across all departments, combining hands-on work with the coordination of contractors and team members. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you’ll help maintain building compliance and meet all legal and statutory requirements. This role also involves proactive planning for preventative maintenance, managing contractors to the highest standards, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all plant, equipment, and essential services.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in building maintenance or engineering, ideally within hospitality or similar environments
  • Strong hands-on technical skills with the ability to manage and delegate tasks to contractors
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., myBuildings) and related processes
  • Knowledge of OH& S, WHS, and Australian Standards for building compliance and safety
  • Experience managing contractors and ensuring high-quality, safe work practices
  • Ability to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and audits
  • Sound understanding of fire safety systems and essential services compliance
  • Strong budgeting and cost-control skills for Repairs & Maintenance expenditure

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective maintenance services across all hotel departments, ensuring timely completion of work requests via myBuildings.
  • Manage and coordinate contractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
  • Implement and review preventative maintenance plans to maintain operational efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Ensure compliance with OH& S, WHS, and Australian Standards, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Monitor and maintain essential services, including fire safety systems, to ensure full operational readiness
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control for Repairs & Maintenance, including procurement and expenditure tracking
  • Maintain secure key and access card management in line with company policies
  • Support planning and execution of capital works projects as required
