About the Role
As a Houseperson at Rydges Sydney Airport, you’ll be responsible for keeping the back-of-house areas spotless, organised, and guest-ready. From refreshing public spaces to supporting the housekeeping team with supplies, your attention to detail and pride in presentation will help create a seamless experience for every guest.

Skills & Experience
• Previous experience as a houseperson or in housekeeping within a hotel, ideally in high-volume settings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Familiarity with hotel houseperson & housekeeping procedures and operational policies.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety (WH& S) practices and hazard reporting.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within allocated timeframes.
• Strong communication skills, with a professional approach to guest interactions.

Key Accountabilities
• Maintain clean, organised back-of-house and public areas to hotel standards.
• Ensure linen and supplies are stocked across all service and storage areas.
• Collect and transfer linen, rubbish, and guest laundry to designated areas.
• Inspect and store rollaway beds, cots, and equipment in a tidy, usable condition.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and unusual situations promptly.
• Follow housekeeping procedures and WH& S guidelines consistently.
• Present professionally and always greet guests courteously.
