About the Role
We have an opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join the team reporting to the General Manager. The perfect role for a Duty Technician to take a step into leadership and responsibility for own hotel. The successful applicant will be responsible for the Maintenance of the hotel:

• Undertaking general repairs and maintenance including preventative maintenance
• Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing & electrical.
• Painting and gardening duties
• General carpentry
• Purchasing & administration
• Coordinating and communicating with guests, customers and third-party contractors to resolve maintenance issues.

Skills & Experience

• Have previous experience working in a similar role
• Have a clear understanding of Workplace, Health and Safety practices
• Be prepared to assist other operational areas of the hotel if required
• Have the ability to work unsupervised and work with the other departments
• Have the ability to work fast and efficiently, ensuring that the job is completed to the correct standard
• Solid customer service and computer skills and be able to learn new systems.
• Have good communication skills including fluent written and spoken English a real benefit
