About the Role

It’s an exciting time to join EVT as we continue to evolve how data and insights shape strategy and unlock business growth. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support the development of insights to support the operational and strategic decision-making of EVT and support the delivery of data solutions that drive business performance. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and senior developers to support both project-based initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

The Strategy and Insights team turns complex data into clear, actionable intelligence that validates ideas, informs strategy and accelerates sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities

• Translate complex commercial and customer data into clear, compelling insights that drive strategic and operational decision-making.
• Lead analysis to identify growth opportunities, performance drivers, risks, and optimisation levers across products, customers, and markets.
• Support BI reporting and data development activities (Power BI, SQL) to enhance insight delivery and data accessibility.
• Respond to ad hoc analytical requests, providing stakeholders with timely, accurate, and commercially relevant insights.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and shape analytical approaches that influence decisions and improve outcomes.
• Present analysis and insights in a clear, commercially grounded narrative tailored to senior and non-technical audiences.
• Support analytical capability uplift through improved data assets, efficient processes, and clear documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen data quality, governance, and analytical best practice across the business.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Commerce, Economics or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience working with commercial and customer data to generate insights that deliver measurable business impact.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience crafting analytical stories that influence decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex analysis into clear, business-focused recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working across diverse teams.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
• Experience developing advanced Power BI reports and SQL queries (supporting insight delivery rather than core ETL).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
