About the Role
We’re currently seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor reporting to the Conference & Events Manager, this full-time position is ideal for an experienced industry professional looking to take the next step in their career. If you're seeking a new challenge and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced hotel environment, this role offers the perfect platform.
You’ll work closely with the Conference & Events Manager and play a key role in delivering seamless Corporate, Social, and Wedding events — from setting up and packing down and all that in between ensuring a smooth execution. Your attention to detail and commitment to outstanding service will ensure every guest enjoys a smooth and memorable experience.


As a Supervisor of our Conference & Events team, you'll contribute to maintaining the welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that sets our hotel apart.
• Deliver exceptional guest service: Ensure every guest—local or visiting—receives warm, professional, and efficient service throughout their experience.
• Collaborate effectively: Work closely with guests, the Conferencing Executive Sous Chef and his team to manage menu details, address guest feedback, and resolve service concerns.
• Uphold venue standards: Maintain a high standard of presentation and service across all areas of the venue, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s expectations.
• Lead and inspire: Use your leadership skills to supervise, motivate, and guide team members, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order: Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of all service areas, including workspaces, tableware, utensils, and equipment.
• Promote operational excellence: Encourage and support the team in consistently exceeding guest expectations.
• Accurate revenue reporting: Ensure accurate end-of-shift revenue reporting, including completion of cash/charge summaries and daily reconciliations.
• Draw on supervisory experience: Apply your prior leadership experience from a premium service or fine dining venue to enhance team performance.
• Ensure WH& S compliance: Follow hotel work health and safety (WH& S) standards, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment at all times.
• Support cross-functional collaboration: Assist other departments and outlets when required to ensure seamless hotel operations.
• Participate in team meetings: Attend all scheduled team meetings and contribute positively to ongoing communication and alignment.
• Perform additional duties: Carry out other tasks as directed by the Conference & Events Manager and Food & Beverage Manager.

• Creative problem-solver: An innovative thinker who can identify opportunities for improvement and deliver creative solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility and availability: Willingness to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays, to support and other F& B venues as required.
• RSA certification: A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is essential to meet legal and safety standards.
