Atura Oran Park is set to open in the heart of Southwestern Sydney, bringing Atura’s people first, design‑led approach to a growing and well‑connected neighbourhood. With thoughtfully designed accommodation, expansive meetings and conferencing spaces, an outdoor pool and terrace and a locally inspired restaurant and bar, the hotel has been created to support connection, collaboration and great hospitality from day one.

Overlooking the Oran Park Town Centre and surrounding parklands, and located close to the new Western Sydney Airport, Atura Oran Park will be a place where locals, travellers and business guests naturally come together. Key Responsibilities

As the Director of F& B you will have full oversight of the Food & Beverage offering across the hotel, including the signature restaurant, cafe, pool area, C& E and IRD.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to guest feedback and complaints across all channels, strengthening relationships and driving continuous improvement.
• Analyse guest satisfaction data regularly and implement action plans to improve scores, ratings, and overall experience.
• Monitor and control operational expenses, especially food, beverage, and labour costs, to meet budget targets.
• Oversee payroll productivity and efficiency through strategic staffing, planning meetings, and tools such as EmpLive.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and talent retention to build a high‑performing hotel operations team.
• Ensure all team members complete required training and maintain active succession and development pathways.
• Manage team performance using EVT tools, ensuring consistent feedback, quarterly check‑ins, annual reviews, and proper disciplinary processes.
• Maximise revenue by optimising occupancy and rates, and drive upselling, promotions, and walk‑in conversion across all channels.
• Ensure financial transactions, credit handling, and cash security follow policy and compliance standards, in collaboration with Finance.
• Drive operational excellence through interdepartmental communication, regular inspections, safety compliance, crisis readiness, stock control, and support for daily hotel operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a senior F& B Manager in hotels, large hospitality groups or fine-dining restaurants.
• Ideally experience opening a new venue or hotel and can hit the ground running.
• Strategic in creating new ideas to drive revenue, SPH and guest engagement to dine in-house.
• Build strong relationships with guests and key stakeholders, and external partners.
• Experience running large hospitality teams, driven to lead from the front and the ability to train and develop the team.
• Great communication, team leadership and fostering a learning environment.
• Strong financial acumen including solid understanding around labour cost, P& L analysis and forecasting
• A passion for hospitality, people focused and innovative thinking.
