About the Role

The Conference & Events Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the hotel’s conferencing and events spaces, ensuring every function is delivered with exceptional service and seamless execution. This role is responsible for maintaining the highest operational standards, anticipating and exceeding the needs of both internal and external guests. With a strong focus on client satisfaction and event execution, the Ops Manager works to strengthen relationships with existing clients while actively contributing to the development of new business opportunities in collaboration with the Sales team, helping to position the venue as a preferred destination for outstanding events.


Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working as an Ops Manager in Events ideally in conferencing centres, hotels or event companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional events, meet guest expectation and ensure seamless execution across all functions and events.
  • Strong capability to anticipate, understand, and exceed the needs of both internal and external guests.
  • Track record of maintaining high operational standards while driving continuous improvement across service and event delivery.
  • Skilled in building and strengthening rapport with existing clients to support retention and long‑term partnerships.
  • Experience contributing to the development of new business opportunities and supporting the venue’s growth as a preferred events destination.
  • Great communication, team leadership and fostering a learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of all hotel conference and event spaces, ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional function delivery.
  • Lead the execution of events to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional service and seamless coordination across all operational elements.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance operational excellence by upholding quality standards and implementing improvements where needed.
  • Anticipate, understand, and exceed the expectations of internal stakeholders and external guests to ensure outstanding event experiences.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to support repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
  • Contribute to generating new business opportunities by supporting sales efforts and helping position the venue as a preferred destination for exceptional events.
