Key Responsibilities

• Support daily reservations and revenue operations, ensuring accurate bookings, rate compliance, channel parity, and high data integrity.
• Analyse booking trends, forecasts, competitor activity, and market conditions to provide insights, reporting, and recommendations to optimise revenue.
• Monitor performance against forecast and budget, identifying risks or revenue shortfalls and escalating with timely, actionable reporting.
• Execute rate, inventory, and revenue initiatives, including low-demand strategies, promotions, and tactical pricing measures.
• Ensure compliance with EVT policies for deposits, prepayments, cancellations, rebates, and no-shows, maintaining accountability and accuracy.
• Contribute operational insights to revenue meetings, business planning, and long-range forecasting alongside Revenue, Sales, and Marketing leaders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support sales alignment and revenue delivery.
• Support guest upselling initiatives, including room upgrades, amenities, and packaged offerings.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment through effective coordination, coaching, feedback, and performance development.
• Support capability uplift through training, cross-skilling, compliance with systems and processes, and alignment to the EVT Way of Sales.

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Reservations or Front Office management in an upscale hotel with complexity and multiple revenue streams.
• Ability to take on limited additional duties in the temporary absence of the Reservations Manager and as required by business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Training is a big part of the role. We will need you to affectively upskill hotel team members and lead training sessions with energy and enthusiasm.
• Comprehension of Hotel systems and planning and execution principles
• Be an effective communicator who is flexible and adaptable to change. Be motivated and independent and have a high attention to detail.
• Strong presentation, commercial and communication skills.
• Reservations team hours can vary; you may need to work weekends or later shift as and when required.
• Proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong relations with clients and stakeholders, with a strong focus on conversion
• Keeps abreast of changes and assesses trends in market conditions and consumer buying behaviour to create strategies that drive business opportunities.
• Strategic and tactical thinker - ability to develop strategic sales plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time.
• Ability to perform multiple efforts in a fast paced, complex, high growth environment
