OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong healthcare experience to support complex digital transformation initiatives within a multi-system environment. This role requires a hands-on professional who can bridge clinical, operational, business, and technical teams, translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements, user stories, process models, and delivery-ready documentation.


The ideal candidate will bring experience working with clinical and administrative workflows, regulated environments, and integrated digital health systems, with the ability to support Agile delivery while maintaining alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Elicit, document, analyze, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements across clinical, operational, IT, and other stakeholder groups.
  • Translate business and clinical needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, and requirements documentation.
  • Support complex digital transformation initiatives involving multiple integrated systems and stakeholder groups.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to gather requirements, validate processes, and support decision-making.
  • Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and current-state versus future-state design activities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on healthcare data, interoperability concepts, system integrations, APIs, and data flows.
  • Support Agile delivery activities, including backlog management, sprint planning, sprint support, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Work effectively within regulated environments, ensuring privacy, security, accessibility, and compliance considerations are reflected in requirements.
  • Partner with business, clinical, technical, and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet operational needs and support successful implementation.
  • Communicate key insights and findings to the client team.
  • Contribute to change management and user adoption activities, as required.


WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Significant experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare environments.
  • Strong understanding of clinical and administrative workflows within complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting digital transformation initiatives involving integrated systems.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups, including clinical, operational, business, and technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of requirements management, process analysis, gap analysis, and current-state versus future-state design.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data, interoperability concepts, system integrations, APIs, and data flows.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Comfortable working within regulated environments with privacy, security, accessibility, and compliance considerations.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability platforms or digital health solutions is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to data and analytics initiatives, such as reporting or population health, is considered an asset.
  • Experience with change management and user adoption support is preferred.
