TAOS SKI VALLEY, INC. is hiring a Ticket/Season Pass Representative in Taos Ski Valley, NM. This is a full-time position.
The Ticket Sales Representative is at the forefront of delivering an unforgettable guest experience! In this exciting role, you'll be the go-to person for ensuring smooth, efficient, and accurate ticket sales while creating positive, lasting impressions. Youll interact directly with guests, helping them purchase daily tickets, season passes, or providing complimentary tickets. By managing payments and processing refunds, you'll be a key player in making each guests visit seamless and hassle-free. Plus, you'll be a trusted source of up-to-date information, ensuring every guest feels informed and taken care ofall while upholding the highest standards of customer service at Taos Ski Valley. Essential Job Responsibilities: Facilitate the sale, refund, or exchange of lift tickets and other resort related products and services.Receive payments for tickets via credit cards or tap payments.Maintain and assist guests with kiosk ticket machines, including replenishing ticket stock and troubleshooting.Assist guests with pre-purchased ticket orders via TSVs online platforms and phone reservation systems.Provide accurate and helpful information to guests, addressing concerns or complaints as needed.Process and troubleshoot partner passes from iKon and Mountain Collective, and assist with validating and invalidating lost or replaced tickets.Reconcile ticket sales with received payments, verifying accuracy with leadership personnel.Uphold and actively promote the values and philosophies outlined in TSVs Statement of Purpose and MissionAssist with snow shoveling when necessary, maintaining clean and safe work areas and walkways.Communicate and collaborate with other departments when necessary.Maintains a professional appearance with appropriate attire as described in the Employee Handbook.Maintains a clean and well-stocked sales area.Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdaysOther duties as assigned. Qualifications/Knowledge: Intermediate computer skills, including experience with MS Office and multi-tasking abilities.Prior experience with point-of-sale systems in a guest services capacity is preferred.Math skills which are sufficient to calculating refunds and ticketing upgradesTake initiative around problem solving and escalating if support is needed.Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and sometimes evenings during special events. Work Environment: Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.The position will often involve working in close quarters with frequent interactions with guests and other staff. Physical Demands of Position Include: Frequently lifting up to 10-25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Standing, sitting 40-60% of the time. Talking and hearing 100% of the time. Walking, reaching, bending, climbing and outdoors 10-20% of the time. Background Check: Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check.
