Sales Associate

Sales Associates are responsible for greeting guests and maintaining a welcoming environment. As a sales associate, you are expected to promote product sales, process transactions, and answer guest questions. You will be well versed in retail inventories, so as to be able to direct guests to items that meet their needs. We strive for every guest interaction to have a personal touch and to make the guest feel more welcome. You will also contribute to cleanliness standards folding t-shirts, zip/tuck/fold, face and front racks. A Sales Associate is a dynamic, outgoing person that can spread the joy of Taos Ski Valley, Inc through every guest interaction and sale. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff. Physical Demands of Position Include: 80-100% of time spent standing/walking. Often lifting 10-25lbs, rarely up to 50lbs, and occasionally using a dolly is required. May spend some time sitting, and will spend some time on a POS (computer sales system). Background Check: Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check.
