Food & Beverage Quick Service Attendants play a key role in the guest experience by providing friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Success in this role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and guest-ready restaurant. Essential Job Responsibilities: Provide friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service while creating a welcoming experience for each guestAccurately process guest orders and payments using the point-of-sale systemWelcome guests, answer questions, provide menu recommendations, and assist with general resort informationDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, allergen information, and resort amenities to confidently assist guestsPractice and uphold responsible alcohol service while complying with all applicable laws and company policiesComplete opening and closing duties in accordance with departmental checklists and standard operating proceduresWork collaboratively to ensure accurate food presentation and timely delivery to guestsMonitor guest satisfaction by responding to requests, addressing concerns, and communicating issues to supervisors as neededMaintain clean, organized, and sanitary dining areas, service stations, and workspaces by bussing tables, stocking supplies, removing trash and recycling, and completing routine cleaning dutiesAssist with outdoor operations, including arranging or storm stacking furniture, snow removal, and maintaining safe, guest-ready outdoor spacesReliable attendance on all scheduled workdaysOther duties as assigned Personal Skills: Must have a strong attention to detailStrong personal character and commitment to Taos Ski Valley, Inc.s Vision, Purpose, and ValuesProvides a guest experience that exceeds the guests expectationsAbility to gracefully and humbly accept criticism and opportunities for growthAbility to stay positive, focused, and constructive when faced with setbacks, challenges, and while working in an ever-changing environment Qualifications/Knowledge: Must already have or be willing to complete the New Mexico Food Handlers Certification upon hireMust already have or be willing to complete the New Mexico Alcohol Server Certification upon hireExperience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferredExperience in using Square Point of Sale and/or Square for Restaurants preferredIs self-motivated and capable of working diligently without constant supervisionAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers and guestsAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings Work Environment: Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff. Physical Demands of Position Include: Will often lift and carry up to 25 pounds. 80-100% of the time will be spent standing, walking, reaching, talking, and hearing. 25-50% of the time may be spent being exposed to the outdoors including winter weather conditions. Occasionally sitting less than 15% of the time. Background Check: Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check.
