Products include industrial, specialty, lab standard and possibly medical grade gases. This requires the ability to learn and apply of CGA, NFPA, DOT and other relevant standardsYou will support cylinder disbursementwhile following proper handling procedures as required by NFPA 99 chapter 9. This also requires physical labor, with cylinders ranging from 10lbs to 750 lbs. (Dewar's)Retrieve cylinders in accordance with NFPA 99 chapter 9 handling requirements. this also requires heavy physical labor, with cylinders ranging from 10 lbs to 750 lbs.Perform cylinder billing including plant communication, Accustar Handheld, Cylinder Tracking, and JD Edwards interactionsYou will interact with customers such as facilities support staff, clinical staff, and occasionally facilitity administratorsAssist with JD Edwards order entry, cylinder tracking, and order selection capabilitiesManage inventory for both in-use and depleted cylinders. What makes you great
- You must have a high school diploma or GED; additional education or trade skills are preferred
- You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal plant teams
- Computer literacy is required
- Clean driving record is required
- Ability to obtain security clearance to enter refineries and chemical plants
- Knowledge of cylinder hases is a significant plus
- You must be have the ability and willingness to safely move heavy loads on a routine basis (including wheeled carts which may weigh up to 1200 lbs.)
- Ability and willingness to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs.
