LCMA is hiring a HR Assistant in Santa Fe, NM. This is a full-time position.

About This Job You play a vital role in shaping our workplace culture and supporting our team as our HR Assistant. You manage the daily operations of the human resources department, ensuring that our employees receive the guidance and resources they need to succeed. Your work directly impacts employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency by streamlining Human Resources processes and maintaining accurate records. Job Duties and Responsibilities Manages the complete Onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and welcoming environment from day one.Coordinates full-cycle Recruiting efforts, including posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews to secure top talent.Utilizes Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain organized recruitment pipelines.Resolves Employee Relations issues promptly and fairly, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.Processes Payroll accurately and on time, collaborating with finance to ensure proper compensation for all staff members.Administers Benefits Administration programs, answering employee questions and assisting with open enrollment.Updates and maintains employee data within the HRIS platform to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.Performs precise Data Entry tasks to keep personnel files and company records up to date.Provides reliable Administrative Assistance to the HR team, managing calendars, correspondence, and meeting preparations. Required Qualifications Education Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.Preferred coursework in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Experience Works in a fast-paced office or HR environment for at least three years.Demonstrates hands-on experience with daily HR tasks and office operations. Knowledge/Skills Possesses strong working knowledge of core Human Resources practices and labor regulations.Operates Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms with high proficiency.Communicates clearly and professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.Manages sensitive information with strict confidentiality and discretion. Preferred Qualifications Holds a professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.Brings direct experience processing Payroll and managing Benefits Administration. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Sits at a desk for extended periods while operating a computer and phone.Works in a standard office environment with minimal physical hazards.Lifts and carries lightweight office supplies and document files up to twenty pounds.
