Position: Business Analyst I
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Salary Range: $65, 000 - $75, 000 per year
Clearance: Active Q Clearance Required

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts and in translating business process needs into technical requirements.

• Provide expertise in change management and training support.

• Provide organizational and strategic planning for a wide variety of technical and functional environments.

• Provide expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.

• Candidate will lead operations associated with our mission focused service desk, back-office support for BI initiatives, scheduling, customer interaction and communication, reporting, requirements gathering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field and 2 years of experience, or an associate degree in an IT related field + 5 years of experience, or 8 years of total experience in lieu of a degree.
• US Citizen
• Must have an active DOE Q Top Secret Clearance for onsite support or DOD Top Secret Reciprocity
• Must be able to obtain a SCI for onsite support.
• Must be willing to take and pass a Polygraph, if necessary

Required Skills:

• Previous work in a National Lab environment, preferably in an IT department (at least 2 years).
• Previous experience with PowerBI or another BI related tool
• Previous back-office support in a capability such as office assistant, ticket dispatcher, or inventory and property management.

Desired Skills:

• Service Now Experience

• Scheduling experience

• Previous experience working with IT technicians and customers.

• Previous experience with Change Management processes and working with a IT change board.
