$500 Sign-On Bonus + $1/hr Shift Differential for Overnight or Weekend Schedules

What You'll Do

As a Medication Technician, you'll play a vital role in resident safety, dignity, and daily quality of life. Responsibilities include:
  • Administering or assisting with self-administration of medication per state regulations
  • Observing, documenting, and reporting resident responses
  • Maintaining accurate medication counts and documentation
  • Keeping medication carts and supply rooms organized and compliant
  • Coordinating with pharmacies for medication orders and deliveries
  • Assisting with Caregiving where needed
  • Building relationships and engaging with residents in conversations or activities
  • Supporting a safe, compassionate, and positive community


Completion of required state training and certification is required.

  • Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
  • Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications. You will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
  • Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
