Description:

The LTSCP Project Manager (1 year contract) is a leader responsible to develop, sell and execute commodity growth strategies aligned to the North America region. Initiatives to secure the growth and mitigate supply risk include transfer of suppliers, supply base optimization, quality & value engineering changes among others. This position is responsible to execute projects through new ideas development, partnering with our plants and cross functions, as well as, to coach, disrupt and lead the procurement organization in the project & program management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation of the supply base concentration program of plastics across NAM plants.

• Ability to prioritize project pipeline based on key Supply Chain-related attributes.

• Support and/or lead all the activities related the supply qualification system in plant according with the responsibility matrix defined.

• Support the commodity management strategy for supplier consultation & selection including negotiate and manage contracts with local/specific suppliers (price, lead times, pay terms, inventory level, etc)

• Propose cost reduction projects/ ideas (QVE, Rebalancing, etc.) within his/her perimeter in consistency with the Purchasing strategy goals.

• Ensure communication with key stakeholders and plants potentially impacted to work towards achieving the goals. Effective communication and proper escalation of progress, escalations, and help need, challenge scope, show compliance with internal process and with business stakeholders.

• Implementation of Agile mindset/frameworks for program & portfolio planning.

Qualifications:

This job might be for you if you fit the following:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering

- Fully Bilingual in English/Spanish (written and oral)

- Minimum of 3 years proven experience working in Program or Portfolio Management

- Previous experience working in Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing or Supply Chain areas

- Proactive, dynamic, self-driven, able to achieve results via Influence and great communications skills

- Seeks solutions beyond his/her own frame of reference

- Knowledge of Agile and its frameworks, especially Scrum

- Experience handling ambiguity, change and multiple conflicts to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment

- PMP Certification / Scrum Master Certified (Desired)
