Schneider Electric is looking for an
SAP Business Process Expert (BPE) based in
Monterrey N.L., to be part of the Digital Transformation deploying and maintaining an ERP across North America. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining the
S/4HANA and SAP ECC Logistics (LO) and Warehouse Management (WM) applications during the entire application lifecycle and the support of Distribution Centers in Manhattan (2019/Active) Migrations.
Who are we, and what do we do? The role includes strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse business processes, supporting SAP systems with region-specific localizations. The position is a key liaison between our ERP solutions, the line-of-business teams, and the business product owner. This position defines and drives the tactical, day-to-day aspects of discovering, validating, documenting, and mapping business processes to SAP-ERP solutions through modeling, simulating, and analyzing current and future states.
The BPE must be able to bridge the IT and business domains and effectively communicate between each side. The BPE will thoroughly understand the warehouse and material management business strategy and processes to participate in managing the WM Product Roadmap.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - What you will do to help us grow! - Primary point of contact across S/4HANA implementation and Run State support in ECC spanning multiple countries over North America for SAP LO and WM.
- Assist business in mapping local warehouse management and material handling processes to solutions in S/4HANA and SAP-ECC.
- Expertise in Distribution Centers and 3rd Party Logistics (additional experience and expertise in Manhattan WMS, Uber Freight TMS preferred)
- EDI order processing and trouble shooting
- ASN Structure and connections with interfaces between SAP/S4HANA, Manhattan WMS, AS400
- Routes determination, Transportation Logic and Packing Instructions managed within SAP for WMS and TMS
- Assist business in mapping local warehouse management and material handling processes to solutions in S/4HANA and SAP-ECC.
- Assist in definition of functional and non-functional system requirements.
- Translate process design to systems design on the SAP S/4HANA and SAP-ECC platforms.
- Maintenance and production support of regional S4 Hana and global SAP ECC systems
- Definition and configuration of system functionality required to meet system design
- Write system design documents, including detailed functional design, technical design, update requirements traceability, and test scenarios, cases.
- Identify & define process and systems' dependencies while implementing new SAP functionality in the context of ongoing enterprise business and IT initiatives.
- Understand requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, provide estimates, suggest process and technology improvements.
- Write functional design documents detailed at SAP table-field level, and work with developers to explain technical requirements.
- Manage upgrade process through evaluation, regression testing, and deployment.
- Able to handle entire Solution Delivery Lifecycle on medium to large SAP projects.
- Manage transfer of bridge knowledge to Key Users and local management team
- Lead identification of gaps between Solution and local business requirements
- Contribute to the resolution of process integration issues
- Contribute to the deployment in new manufacturing and adaptation area
- Continuous improvement of a bridge solution, including user acceptance, document creation and training
- Training support for new users and key users across North America
- ERP Process Audit to align business process & data governance to SAP
- Serve as a Change Agent, supporting the Business Transformation leader in resolving issues between bridge and the site Business Models
- Contribute to localization of project documentation (training materials, test scripts, etc)
- Participate in End User Training
- Ensure data cleansing, accuracy, completeness, conversion, migration, and validation are completed
- Lead the Key Users & project team participation in solution testing
- Ensure alignment between Schneider Performance System (SPS) and SAP
- Represent the business and ERP functionality with Regional Subject Matter Expert for SPS
- Support planning transformation experts and processes within the bridge/SAP solution for demand planning, production planning, capacity management and forecasting.
- Connect with Planning Transformation team to understand future state and plan for changes in the ERP process
- Support the future state solution of SAP using S/4 Hana and full model consisting of pricing, contract, quote conversion, order management, procurement, forecasting, manufacturing, quality, plant maintenance, logistics, invoicing, and finance controlling
- Connect S/4 Hana solution to bridge/SAP solution to create a seamless and transparent solution for our customers and our supply chain in North America
QualificationsPosition Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP LO and WM required. Prefer SAP certified professionals.
- Aptitude in learning and working in new IT systems
- Ability to cooperate and work in multicultural environment
- Prior experience working with SAP system integrators, and on multi-country SAP environments preferred.
- Ability to independently design and configure SAP Quality Management and Plant Maintenance processes.
- Managing and collaborating remotely
