Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a
Production Planner in our
Mty 4 location. This is an opportunity to join a manufacturing site that strives to be on the leading edge of technology to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsabilities- In charge of the right load balance and the synchronization of heterogeneous product families and different work center, eng dept, manufacturing ...) with finite capacity
- For ETO & solutions activities, runs the Manufacturing production scheduling (short term plan).
- Ensures the update of key parameters of supply and stock management.
- Plans, schedules and prioritizes the resources to execute Customer Projects in the production
- Main Activities
- Puts the milestones of the order as late as possible, according to customer needs, in order to minimize WIP and the risk of order modification. Optimizes the resources consumption by smoothing the workload
- Schedules the different tasks from order entry until shipping, for each project
- Considers the firm orders and exceptionally those significant order which require some capacity to be reserved.
- Assigns the load centers (including bottlenecks) to the different tasks
- Formalizes a Contractual Lead Time with the concerned load center responsible (Task performance duration + queue)
- Uses the families defined by Manufacturing engineering department in each sector which allow to assign a reliable workload to each load center (capacity management)
- Balances global workload weekly and allows some changes during the week for order release
- Ensure Inventory, WIP and lead time performance vs. TCO (total Cost of Ownership)
- It is a key role in Flow Continuous Improvement Management
- Participates in the Kick-Off meeting
- Supervise for the plant the production order and RCA
- Lead Material Requirement planning (MRP)
- Lead the HPS Meeting (Healthy Production Start)
- Apply LTO as per defined by Offer Manager and highlight SCM and tendering if any deviations
Qualifications -
- Bachelor Degree
- 3+ years experience in a similar position
- SAP knowledge in PP module
- ETO or CTO experience is a plus
- Fluent English
