What will you do: - Lead and develop comprehensive product cost estimations for industrial projects using contractual data and financial requirements
- Develop and maintain product cost estimates from the early stages of projects through the full product lifecycle
- Drive Design to Cost initiatives in close collaboration with Engineering to improve cost competitiveness without compromising key product requirements
- Analyze technical specifications, scope documents, and historical data to calculate accurate Product cost.
- Identify gaps between estimated cost, target cost, and actual cost development, and drive actions when targets are not met
- Evaluate scope changes, contract values, and cost trend impacts to ensure project financial optimization
- Consolidate costing inputs from multiple sources, including supplier quotations and expert estimations from manufacturing team.
- Analyze cost drivers, variances, and risks, and provide clear recommendations to project teams and stakeholders
- Support decision-making by providing cost scenarios, trade-off analysis, and impact assessments during development phases
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on cost assumptions and cost improvement actions
- Contribute to the development and standardization of costing methods, tools, and best practices
Requirements: - Senior-level experience in product costing, industrial costing, cost engineering, or a related discipline
- Ability to translate cost analysis into actionable recommendations for both technical and business stakeholders
- Proven experience driving Design to Cost initiatives with Engineering teams
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with assembly and fabrication cost structures
- Strong understanding of product cost structures, manufacturing processes, and industrial cost drivers
- Excellent communication and ability to influence cross-functional teams and challenge assumptions constructively
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with minimal supervision
- Strong technical costing expertise, business judgment, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to balance cost, design, and product requirements.
- Advanced english level
