Join our team as a
Buyer Intern, where you will work directly with suppliers across Mexico, the USA, and Canada. You will be responsible for cleaning orders and managing projects for all plants with critical suppliers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain management.
Who We Are Looking For: We are seeking students from the following fields,
graduating in December 2025 or 2026 What will you do:
• Responsible of managing Procurement transactional support tasks for Americas Procurement Teams.
• Act as Point of Contact for Supplier Base Management requests in front of SE Stakeholders and Procurement Teams, working with IT and Finance teams for daily resolution of Supplier related transactions (Vendor Creation, Vendor onboarding to multiple tools, Vendor block/unblock, Vendor information updates).
• Resolve sourcing-related queries and operational issues in support of Procurement Teams as well as internal customers.
• Interact frequently with the Procurement Teams including Buyers, Managers, Category & Region Directors
• Manage communication to Supplier Leaders or other points of contact for targeted initiatives related to SE's Supplier base.
• Responsible for updating Materials and POs prices across different Schneider systems.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement goals in Global Procurement Services team by detecting opportunities in our different processes
Qualifications- Not mandatory but a plus if experienced in in areas such as Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics or Analytics. 6th/7th semester preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in process in Supply Chain, Business or Industrial Engineering or related.
- Graduating in December 2025 or 2026
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate across multiple levels of the Organization
- English: Advanced (Oral and Written)
- Basic understanding of Purchasing or Supply Chain processes
- Able to work independently, work well under pressure, be flexible and comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Comfortable with a variety of IT systems and applications, be a fast learner and analytical
- Basic/Medium Excel skills
