Job DescriptionResponsible for ensuring the optimal inventory of supplies, fixtures, and signage according to project requirements, through follow-up on purchase orders, suppliers, distribution centers, and delivery routes. Maintain the integrity of fixtures in stores, distribution centers, and/or external warehouses, ensuring that suppliers meet AutoZone standards by delivering on time and in full. Provide solutions and support to the Set-Up team, addressing urgent needs for supplies, fixtures, and signage with priority when required.
Manage and follow up on supplier payments, inventory inflows and outflows of supplies, fixtures, and signage. Generate inventory reports, purchase forecasts, and investment allocations for stores and distribution centers.
ResponsibilitiesInventory Control
- Verify that the inventory delivered on-site matches the purchase orders for supplies, fixtures, and signage.
- Plan the delivery of fixtures, supplies, and signage according to project schedules and based on distances between supplier and store, supplier and distribution center, and/or external warehouses. Confirm quotations and ensure supplier payments are completed.
- Assess the specific needs for new stores, openings, remodels, and existing stores.
- Generate shipment orders for fixtures and signage for new and remodeled stores.
- Maintain disciplined communication with all fixture suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries for each project.

- Coordinate with other departments the arrival times of supplies, fixtures, and signage to stores, distribution centers, and/or external warehouses.
- Participate in the closing of purchase order will-calls to help reduce inventory.
Cost Analysis and Reporting
Review, upload, and report costs for shipments of supplies, fixtures, and signage across the chain, ensuring AutoZone receives the best cost and lead-time performance.
Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
- Business Administration, Accounting, International Relations, or International Business
- 2 to 3 years of experience
- Experience in inventory management and purchasing
