The Assistant Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting in leading a production team which is responsible for a relationship-based book of business. The Assistant Loan Officer will perform all aspects of the loan process for their assigned book of business. The candidate must have the ability to build solid relationships, both internal and external, and create successful partnerships. Must excel in a high pressure environment and be able to take on diverse responsibilities, including team development and complex case resolution.

What You’ll Do

  • This role is focused on new business originations of complex life insurance premium finance transactions
  • Attain performance and financial goals through individual team management
  • Monitor team performance against service level agreements
  • Ensure individual team adheres to all Policies and Procedures
  • Review and approve loan underwriting documents
  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of internal administrative system
  • Resolve customer escalations
  • Build solid relationships to ensure transparent feedback and successful partnerships
  • Provide “white glove” service and act as point of contact for escalations
  • Ensure and own client satisfaction and actively work on solutions and improvements to better business
  • Conduct themselves as an ambassador of company culture
  • Model strong leadership communications
  • Train and develop talent into positions of increasing responsibility at the individual level

Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience

  • 4 – 6 years of financial services or insurance industry experience
  • At least 1 year of Leadership Experience is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Life Insurance industry products
  • Possess strong leadership qualities
  • Knowledge of standard business practices and working in team environment
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast paced environment

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $71, 000 - $92, 000 along with eligibility to earn a quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
