Your impact as a Donor Care Manager is vital. Supporting Vitalant's life-saving mission involves managing the daily operations of the Donor Care department, optimizing team efficiency, productivity, engagement, and performance. You will strategically implement policies, procedures, and goals to ensure the successful achievement of collection targets and budget adherence.
What to Expect: Compensation: $91, 832.00-$121, 222.40Schedule: Monday-Friday days 8: 30am-5pm, occasional evenings and weekends as needed

As a Manager you'll get to- Hire, train, manage and assess the performance of collections staff and supervisors, ensuring consistent achievement of departmental goals.
- Efficiently organize activities, schedules, and workflows for assigned staff and management, optimizing the use of personnel, equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate in planning, organization, preparation, and administration of the department budget.
- Work closely with Donor recruitment, Laboratory and Hospital Service Leadership to address issues related to collection and recruitment.
- Contribute to planning in relevant to collections, including draws, staffing, and equipment/facilities expenditures.
- Report and resolve deviations within the department promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in a directly related field
- Three years previous healthcare related experience
- Two years supervisory experience
OR- High School Diploma/GED
- Five years previous healthcare related experience
- Four years supervisory experience
- Successful completion of supervisory training programs
- Able to lift 40lbs
