Distribution Assistant Supervisor dedicated to making a positive difference in our Neptune, NJ location! together. Your impact as an Assistant Supervisor is vital. You will contribute to Vitalant's life-saving mission by receiving and preparing orders for blood and blood products, ensuring timely delivery to our customers. You will assist in supervising Hospital Services employees and overseeing shift operations.
What to Expect Schedule: Monday-Friday 8: 00am-4: 30pm, with some slight flexibility needed to start at 7am on occasion.

As a Distribution Assistant Supervisor, you'll get to: - Support the achievement of departmental and individual goals, effective communication, and continuous process improvements.
- Oversee workflow coordination, including tasks assignments, order prioritization, and logistics.
- Select appropriate blood components for order accuracy, considering product type, aging, and requested criteria. Conduct visual inspection of products before packing them in designated storage containers.
- Communicate order fulfillments with customers, escalating customer concerns to leadership or medical representatives as appropriate.
- Review and maintain accurate hospital service records
- Maintain hospital service equipment and preventive maintenance and monitor shipments.
Requirements - High School degree or GED required
- Valid in state Driver's License
- One year as a Hospital Distribution Specialist OR directly elated experience required
- Prior healthcare industry experience preferred
- One year of team lead OR supervisory experience highly preferred
- Able to lift 40lbs
