About the Role

The Lifecycle Services Business Development Manager is responsible for driving and supporting regional commercial business strategy of Lifecycle Services including consulting business, CORE services (remote support, field service, plant services, maintenance services, and training), Annual Recurring Revenue contracts and associated automation hardware and software portfolio. The Lifecycle Services Specialist serves as domain expert around the Services business and continuously builds core competency around Rockwell Automation services portfolio to help articulate business value both internally to sales as well as externally to customers. This position will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the distributor, providing technical, marketing, and commercial leadership for sales growth. Analyzes market conditions, develops an annual business plan, and coordinates the implementation within region. Leads the commercial introductions of new services to market including target setting, marketing, performance, and sales management.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for Lifecycle Services annual sales goal and target account planning
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams including marketing, inside sales, outside sales and operations to deliver profitable growth.
  • Develop Partner Performance Report goals and metrics and coordinate with team on meeting targets for all areas of services business beyond just Rockwell Automation Services
  • Participate in account planning and sales strategy focusing on new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion. Lead the sales force in promoting the portfolio to existing and new customers with presentations, pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Incorporate value-added services within customer project proposals and product-centric engagements.
  • Technical Liaison of Lifecycle Services with Rockwell Automation
  • Consistent ability to remain up-to-date on offerings and amendments to offerings.

What You'll Bring

  • 4-year degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of sales ability to manage multiple partner and customer relationships while achieving target outcomes and/or services experience in Industrial Automation, IT or Software fields
  • Inspire, influence, lead and communicate across a diverse team not under direct management
  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Dedicated self-starter with drive for industry knowledge and solutions
