Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering Hospital in Hackensack, New Jersey. As an MRI Tech, you'll use advanced imaging technology to provide high-quality diagnostic scans that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT registered
  • Phillips MRI Systems experience
  • Current state license (if applicable)
  • BLS certification required2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center
  • Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills


MRI Tech Contract Details:

  • $2, 040 - $2, 260 per week
  • Hospital setting12 week contract, with possibility to extend


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
  • Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
  • Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration
