Job Description
Plastipak Packaging Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Room Technician in Keasbey, NJ. This is a full-time position.
As a Mechanical Room Technician, you perform, monitor & evaluate preventative maintenance plans, while continually work towards improving equipment & processes. You Will
- Perform maintenance for critical building and production systems
- Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
- Ensure continous operation of equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air compression systems
- Repair & rebuilds spare parts
- Diagnose and correct mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions.
- Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures
You Have
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining industrial facilities systems
- Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
- Ability to interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, schematics
- Strong understanding of plumbing, airflow systems, and PLCs
Shift & Pay:
- $28/hr
- Mon-Fri 6am-4pm
