Job Description

Permanent, a division of Hermes, is hiring a Staff - Logistics Processing in Dayton, NJ. This is a full-time position.

The Opportunity:

The Logistics Processing Staff collaborates and flexes to support all processing areas in accordance with the needs of the business and is responsible for all the daily assigned duties associated with receiving, picking, packing, shipping with a focus on Inbound and Outbound Retail and Wholesale processing, E-commerce picking and packing, sale processing.

Handles all company assets, product and material with care and respect to the Hermès brand. All work must be neat, accurate and within procedural guidelines.

All assigned tasks must be performed with close adherence to the company's safety, security and inventory control policy and procedure.

About the Role:

Functional Responsibility
  • Sorting, checking and receiving product and material involving leads/managers as issues arise
  • General stock maintenance and organization of shelving, high bay, and staging areas with adherence to safety protocol
  • RF picking in WMS, location transfers, checking of all product and material per document instructions (i.e. Nova pick tickets, WMS pick tickets, putaway)
  • Detailed E-commerce packing and Corporate Gift order packing
  • Detailed WMS packing for Retail accounts and Wholesale accounts
  • Carton sortation and palletization
  • Movement of pallets using proper equipment
  • Support and processing of Special Events, Construction, Visual, Orange Supplies and special projects.
  • Inventory preparation and maintenance/organization of physical stock and scanning of cycle counts
  • Accurate completion of documents in all assigned areas in compliance with company policy and procedure
  • Follow sustainability and recycling guidelines for all packaging material
  • Follow certified destruction procedures for any non-product Hermès packaging material
  • Maintain a neat and clean work environment including sweeping and clean-up of shelving
  • This position may require overtime and flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including extended holiday hours during designated periods throughout the year
  • This position operates across multiple shifts (e.g., days, evenings, and/or weekends). The schedule may flex based on operational and business demands.

About You:
  • Experience preferred but not required
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Must be able to list 50 lbs. within company safety guidelines
  • Ability to read and comprehend document instructions
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to produce accurate work within productivity guidelines.

The range for this role is $18.25 - $20.17 per hou r. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
