We are currently looking for a dedicated assistant supervisor to join our team! Come help us distribute fun across the United States! Hours of business: Monday Thursday 9: 00 am - 6: 00 pm; Friday 9: 00 am - 5: 00 pm (40 hours per week). This position could require extended hours, and occasional weekends as needed. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $55, 000 - $60, 000 per year Benefits: 401(k) matchingDental InsuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance The Assistant Warehouse Supervisor must maintain professional and respectful working relationships with external shipping services staff, sales staff, warehouse staff, and management. Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but are not limited to): Assist Facilities Manager and Warehouse Supervisor in providing direction for a team of 8 - 10 warehouse associates in receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes and proceduresConduct/oversee physical counts of products to be reconciled with our system data to maintain correct inventory levelsMonitor procedures for the safety and security of the warehouse environment and all goodsPrepare orders by processing all printed requests and orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area; and wrapping pallets.Maintain inventory controls by reporting all issues to the Facility Manager.Maintain quality service by following organization standards.Maintain a safe and clean work environmentContribute to team effort.Other duties are as directed by the facility manager or other senior management. Requirements: 2+ years of Supervisory experience; required2+ years of receiving/shipping warehouse experience.Knowledge of receiving & shipping practices.Must be able to bend and lift 50lb boxes.Well-organized, able to multitask, and strong attention to detail is a must.Must possess strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within the team environment.Forklift certified.Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
