What you will do

The Senior Manager, Project Management Lead is responsible for managing regional, cross-functional teams, providing structure and direction, and collaborating effectively with key business partners:

Project Leadership
  • With limited direction, lead cross functional Essential Health project teams in a matrix environment to identify and recommend the best enterprise business proposition across Product Development, Supply Chain, and Commercial
  • Guide project teams through the development of strategies, options and business cases; drive activities to meet project and business objectives including approval of project recommendations through governance
  • Influence others beyond own scope and level (director and VP); lead communications with all level of stakeholders to enable informed decision making
  • Drive team accountability for deliverables and ensure projects meet milestones
  • Demonstrate business acumen, project management, communication, process management and team performance management; ask the right questions to understand business impact and risks
  • Make the complex simple and represent a true enterprise view when presenting opportunities and plans to the team and organization
  • Lead team thorough options analysis and drive cross-functional recommendations


People Management
  • Manage a team of Project Managers to deliver new product and lifecycle management pipeline including delivering key project milestone deliverables. Project Managers lead and manage cross-functional teams to create plans to realize commercial and supply chain opportunities and to execute according to targets outlined in 3 Year Operating plans

Facilitation & Risk Management
  • Excel at enterprise leadership and facilitation and collaboration; identify and recommend the best enterprise business proposition
  • Engage teams in healthy debate/conflict, and deliver solutions
  • Scope definitions and control: stakeholder alignment, project planning, resource and risk management, team development and communication
  • Lead prioritization and options analysis with teams
  • Lead teams in use of ongoing risk management & communication tools
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders; lead development and delivery of tactical and achievable mitigation and contingency planning


Project Execution
  • Develop a project plan, and then drive delivery of the project plan to achieve business results
  • Develop, manage and maintain up-to-date Project Timelines inclusive of all critical milestones, key interdependencies, financial commitments and resource constraints, while applying appropriate project scheduling techniques
  • Monitor project status and execution; report timely updates via Project Templates, Project Dashboards and Update Forms; and develop agendas, minutes, metrics, etc. for the teams
  • Deliver transparent, timely and effective verbal and written communication to teams, stakeholders and appropriate levels of the organization
  • Lead "lessons learned" exercises, share lessons among project leaders and other teams, integrate lessons into existing processes, tools and templates


Squad Leadership Team Membership
  • In addition to project management, the Senior Manager, Project Lead will be responsible to sit with the business teams to provide proactive and transparent perspective and influence. Expectations are that the Senior Manager, Project Lead leverages broad cross-functional experience and knowledge to effectively challenge assumptions and Connecting dots from Commercial facing org to macro Supply Chain elements and tactical impacts


What we are looking for

Requirements:
  • A minimum of minimum of eight (8) years of relevant business experience
  • A proven record of Project Management, leading multi-functional and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Experience in General Management thinking & approach; working through end-to-end business challenges and solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership & influencing skills across organizational levels
  • Familiarity with standard project management tools and templates
  • Managing a remote, matrix team
  • Business and Financial acumen


Desired Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three (3) years of increasing responsibility in the OTC, consumer products and/or pharmaceutical industries
  • Supply Chain and/or Commercial experience
  • Minimum of 2 years managing and developing people
  • PMP certification is highly preferred
  • Prior experience working on new products and/or execution of new products


What's in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$152, 150.00 - $214, 800.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
